Thanks for the shout out to True Confessions. Difficult to understand why this neo noir classic never received the praise that it deserves, especially when you consider the all star cast: DeNiro, Duvall, Durning, and Burgess Meredith.
ReplyDeleteYes it's a great retro Noir which has always been highly underrated. Duvall in particular is brilliant. The original book is also excellent.
