I'm currently reading the novel by Mickey Spillane, it's interesting so far, I haven't gotten to the catalyst for the initial murder of Christina Bailey who in the novel is a dime a dance hall girl.
Havent read the book yet Joe, need to put it on the list - perhaps you can do a post on it when you finish - the jury seems to be out on spillane's position amongst Noir writers in general
