Possibly the best article on Patricia Highsmith i have read so far is Michael Dirda's This Woman is Dangerous for the July 2009 New York Review of Books which includes a description of her by Graham Greene as '' a poet of apprehension'' in '' a world claustrophobic and irrational ''.
