Live and Die in L.A

Directed by William Friedkin who has likes of The Exorcist and French Connection to his credit this brutal Neo Noir is only mentioned occasionally but has great performances by Petersen and Dafoe as bad cop and ruthless criminal in the sweaty landscape of urban L.A.

  1. For some reason, which I've never understood, this film got terrible reviews when it came out. I distinctly remember being the only person I knew who saw it and loved it.

    1. Some critics may have disliked Friedkin himself for various reasons Mike but this is real modern Noir
