No Fixed Home

After he was entrusted to his father, the result is a long drift to crime for James Ellroy, between burglaries and synthetic drugs. A wandering in the slums of the city and the human soul, no fixed home, a race against death until 1975 when a double pneumonia invites him to a more productive existence. The writer is born late and comes to fill the destructive excesses of the young Ellroy. Los Angeles is the city of James Ellroy in its immensity, its incarnation and its madness. A city to the excess of his novels.
